CONTEXT

BeIN Media Group’s Digital team is seeking a Senior Officer to own ad tech integrations on our global publishing platforms. The Senior Officer will be responsible for building specific advertising strategies (delivery formats and user experience), define requirements and drive execution for the Ad Platforms to support our Advertising business, across both internal and external stakeholders. This role will be both a visionary for delivering advertising solutions as well as a detailed problem-solver coordinating between technical and non-technical groups. The Senior Officer drives strategy, properly defines requirements between multiple advertising and technology groups, brings a passion for building and possesses a strong background in product development and programmatic marketplaces.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Develop, manage and execute on a product vision, strategy and plan for the Advertising business across all devices/platforms (web, mobile, and living room), working with various stakeholder groups across product, technology, finance, sales and legal groups
  • Own the product vision, strategy and execution of our auction product offerings while partnering with cross-functional teams to build a best-in-class programmatic platform for our advertisers
  • Drive the development of ad tech solutions which optimize for a balance between guaranteed and non-guaranteed demand sources
  • Deliver new and innovative opportunities for brands by designing new methods to automate buying and connect with audience data
  • Build and maintain a market-leading private marketplace to improve the viewing experience and increase competition for BeIN Media Group ad inventory
  • Integrate with new supply side and demand side platforms, optimizing media spend, improving targeting and reducing waste
  • Own, operate and maintain the strategic direction for the marketplaces backlog, building solutions the optimize yield for every advertising request to the ad server
  • Partner with our engineering teams to build advanced decisioning levers to provide new opportunities for favoring preferred brands and partners
  • Partner with our sales team to identify new opportunities in the programmatic marketplace where BeIN Media Group can provide unique solutions for our advertisers
  • Own the efforts around prioritization, definition, and roadmap of our programmatic product
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure coordination and completion of various responsible products
  • Work closely with legal teams and company leaders to ensure industry and privacy-compliant use of data

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, highly preferred from established technology or digital media company
  • 2+ years of digital experience working with programmatic ad technology and closely aligned to sales organizations
  • Strong subject matter knowledge of how sales organizations operate and function in media organizations
  • Proven experience and success in a product role with the ability to demonstrate a record of success in driving the development of programmatic ad buying features and platforms
  • Experience at a top Digital or TV advertising measurement company and/or understanding of the ad measurement industry
  • Passion for sports or entertainment, SVOD or OTT industries
  • Experience running design sprints with internal teams
