Product owner digital right manager H/F

CONTEXT

BeIN Media Group’s Digital team is seeking a Specialist of DRM to own video content protection on our publishing platforms. The Specialist will be responsible for building specific DRM strategies (encoding workflows, license formats, and cost optimization) and drive technical execution across both internal and external stakeholders. Ideally, you have deep experience in one or more areas spanning hardware security systems on devices to server side security, including operating system, network layer security and web applications. A successful candidate needs to have excellent communication skills to share your knowledge with a diverse audience, from developers to technology executives. You will work with cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical key stakeholders to define strategy, capture requirements, plan for dependencies, and interpret, communicate, and drive full lifecycle security programs. You will partner with IT, Legal, and Product teams to evaluate and develop security and content protection features and services. RESPONSABILITIES

• Take an active role in the assessment of all potential content security risks at a global level and manage appropriate solutions to mitigate those risks.

• Maintain global content DRM policies and standards that support both operational and development activities.

• Manage outsourced content security relationships where appropriate.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert providing technical guidance and security best practices for both on-premise and cloud-based DRM and other content security systems.

• Integrate with new hardware and software based DRM systems to optimize DRM budget spend.

• Own the efforts around prioritization, definition, and roadmap of our content protection backlog.

• Collaborate with other Product Managers, engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure coordination and completion of various responsible products.

• Work closely with legal teams and content acquisitions to ensure industry and rights owner compliant use of DRM.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of technical program management experience from established technology or digital media company

• 2+ years of experience operating video streaming platforms.

• Proven experience and success in a technology role with the ability to demonstrate a record of success in driving the development of video streaming platforms.

• Passion for sports or entertainment, SVOD or OTT industries

• Maturity, judgment, and proven ability to lead and influence others

• Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, product managers and senior business leaders

• High sense of ownership, urgency and drive
